I felt the ending coming - I think I was meant to, it felt as if Cain sensed the inevitability of death and was drawn to it. And it felt as though Annabelle delivered redemption as well as death.<br /><br />I hadn't caught last week's story and just went back now to read. They are a suitably strong pair of stories for a strong pair of characters.
